The study was conducted to investigate some physical properties of soybean at various moisture levels. The dependence of physical properties of soybean on moisture content was determined. In the moisture range from 9.98- 27.10% (wb).The soaked soybean size increased linearly in length (6.34 - 8.95 mm), width (5.42 -6.50 mm), and thickness (4.23 - 5.35 mm) according to final moisture content. Date palm (Phoenix dactylifera L.) is a monocotyledon of the family of the Palmae. The date palm is grown in Kutchh region of Gujarat. The physical properties of dates fruits (Variety: Zahidi) are necessary for the design of the equipment to handle, transport, process and storage. In this study some physical properties of dates fruits determined as a function of moisture content namely, dimensions, arithmetic and geometric mean diameter, sphericity, surface area, 1000 unit mass, bulk density, true density, porosity, angle of repose and coefficient of static friction.

The pneumatic conveying characteristics of chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) of the variety Koçbasi were determined. The length, width, thickness, arithmetic mean diameter, geometric mean diameter, sphericity, volume, 1000 seed mass, bulk density, true density, porosity, projected area, terminal velocity, drag coefficient, pressure drop, power consumption, and seed damage, namely mechanical damage, germination test and seed vigour index, were investigated experimentally.
