While a numerous number of prior studies on different economies have drawn mixed findings, empirical findings for the relationship of those three vital economic indicators in ASEAN countries remain limited and open room for further research to call for better macroeconomic policy stances.

This study examines the effect of globalization and tax competition on tax revenue in Southeast Asian countries. Figures show the sign of tax competition in Southeast Asian countries. We evaluate the effects of tax competition on tax revenues of Southeast Asian countries with the globalization KOF index. The analysis shows interdependence among the tax revenues of Southeast Asian countries in the context of economic integration.

The aim of the research is to explore the effects of Thai culture on the efficacy of Western modelled performance management (PM) in a cross-cultural setting. Thailand is becoming increasingly important to Australian businesses, particularly in view of the ASEAN Economic Community Plan, which is now in its final stages implementation (ASEAN 2015). The effects of foreign direct investment (FDI) on the labor market of ASEAN countries are quite mixed and need to be further analyzed by in-depth models.
