Determine the rate of Autism Spectrum Disorder in children between the ages of 18 and 36 months by utilizing the M-CHAT-R scale at the clinic of Can Tho Children's Hospital. And identify the associated risk factors for that rate of Autism Spectrum Disorder.

This study used the qualitative case study method to investigate how a hi-tech manufacturing factory onboarded their ASD employees successfully. It identified a blueprint of the onboarding practice for ASD employees: (1) collaborating with an external agency with expertise, (2) encouraging self-disclosure through an official autism hiring program, (3) monitoring the performance of ASD employees closely.

Current Controversies Even though vaccines are very safe and serious adverse events proven to be due to licensed vaccines are rare, the recent rise in the reporting of autism spectrum disorders has led some parents of affected children to claim that thimerosal—used as a preservative—is the cause of the problem. No study has yet implicated thimerosal or the vaccines in which it has been used as a likely cause of these disorders; however, fully 50% of cases before the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program concern autism allegedly due to mercury.
