The effect of the particles’ shape, size as well as the surrounding medium, and the polarization of incident light, the inter-particle separation distance between NPs were examined.

This paper proposes a node location identification in WSN based on a combined Ant Lion Optimizer (ALO) with a typical model of localization. The fitness function is modeled mathematically based on estimating distances of the WSN nodes. The updating solutions of the population are figured out for position correcting to improve the node positioning accuracy. The effects of parameters like node density and communicating range is verified in the experiments to evaluate the performance of the proposed method in terms of concerning average localization error and success ratio.

J. excelsa M. Bieb forms about 82% of the total juniper forests in Turkey. A total of 456 plant samples belonging to 19 J. excelsa populations were collected to determine the genetic variation of J. excelsa and compare their genetic diversity among populations via simple-sequence repeat (SSR) and intron targeted amplified polymorphism (ITAP) markers. Seven SSR and 132 ITAP loci were polymorphic. The percentage of polymorphism for ITAP loci at the population level ranged from 31.34 to 55.97.

In this study the performance and cost-economics were compared for maize seed. During the study it was found that the mean draft requirement measured during experiment was 384.17 N with an average power output of 0.158 kW/ h. The average speed of operation of the planter was found to be 1.46 km/h. The average seed to seed distance was 30 cm and average row to row distance is 45 cm. In this paper, we measure and analyse profit efficiency and productivity of Vietnamese banks using a newly developed index approach which is based on the directional distance function. Our findings indicate that the average bank operates quite far below the frontier of the best-practice bank, mainly due to allocative inefficiency rather than technical inefficiency, and that Vietnamese banks experience modest productivity growth.

Present investigation was carried out at Vegetable Research Farm, RPCAU, Pusa, Samastipur, Bihar during 2018-19 (Rabi). About thirty genotypes were evaluated for 15 growth, yield and quality characters which were grouped into six clusters. Cardinalfishes belongs to the family, Apogonidae is cryptic in nature that often shows taxonomic ambiguity through conventional taxonomy. It is globally accepted that mitochondrial DNA marker i.e., Cytochrome C Oxidase (COI) can be used to resolve these taxonomic uncertainties. In the present study, the DNA barcode was developed using COI marker for the two species of cardinalfishes (Archamia bleekeri and Ostorhinchus fleurieu) collected from Thoothukudi coast. Results showed that the distance values between the two species are higher than that of within the species.

The study was conducted at Technology Park (Plasticulture Farm) of CTAE, Udaipur, Rajasthan to evaluate performance of automated and conventional drip system for okra crop during year 2019. The Uniformity Coefficient (CU), Distribution Characteristic (DC) and Emission Uniformity (EU) were found to be highest at the head and decreases with increase in distance along the lateral for both irrigation systems. The present investigation was carried out at Horticulture Research Station, Dr. Y. S. R Horticultural University, Venkataramannagudem, West Godavari district during kharif season, 2018.Based on D2 values, the twenty-nine hybrids of okra grouped into six clusters. Among the sixclusters, cluster III comprised the maximum number of hybrids (6) followed by cluster II (5), cluster V (5), cluster VI (5), cluster I (4) and cluster IV (4). The maximum inter cluster distance was observed between clusters I and VI (D2 =65.06) followed by clusters II and VI (D2 =62.51).

An experiment was carried out to study the divergence among twenty four rice genotypes (14 indica and 10 japonica lines) for 15 agro-morphological traits using D2 statistics and at molecular level using 114SSR markers. The cluster analysis using Mahalonobis’ D2 statistics classified the genotypes into five clusters. The cluster IV was the largest with seven indica and three tropical japonica types. The second largest cluster (V) accommodated four tropical japonica and two indica genotypes. The intra cluster distance ranged from 1.077 to 8.

Twelve goats irrespective of their sex, with average age of 3 years were grouped in 2 groups comprising 6 goats in each group with an average body weight of 21.79 kg. The goats under negative control group (Group-I) were kept in complete environmental ambience without transportation stress. Group II as a positive control, subjected to normal environment and induced transportation stress for 12 hrs over a distance of 350 Km on 10th day of experiment. There was an average shrinkage of body weight of 5.76 per cent in transported goats over their pre-transport weight.
