In this work, we present a study of phonon hardening of 762 cm-1 phonon which is the strongest Raman-active mode in pyrochlore Cd2Os2O7 single crystal through temperature dependent Raman scattering. We discuss that the major contribution of the phonon hardening and the anomarlie behavior of asymmetry Fano parameter would involve to spin-phonon coupling and electronphonon coupling.

Teacher students' interaction in comparison of teacher's self-perception and students' point of view
Building a teacher-student relationship is important for creating trust, mutual understanding and respect. The interaction of teacher and students can be found using the 48-item Questionnaire on Teacher Interaction. The result is the Model for Interpersonal Teacher Behavior, consisting of four dimensions, which are further divided into eight sectors to evaluate the teacher.

This paper presents an experimental study of corrosion-damaged reinforced concrete (RC) columns under eccentric compression. Three RC concrete column specimens, identical in geometry, reinforcing steel bars, and concrete mix, were fabricated. One undamaged control specimen served as the control group, while the other two column specimens underwent corrosion due to chloride ion exposure.

Inter-tissue molecular interactions are critical to the function and behavior of biological systems in multicellular organisms, but systematic studies of interactions between tissues are lacking. Also, existing studies of inter-tissue interactions are based on direct gene expression correlations, which can’t distinguish correlations due to common genetic architectures versus biochemical or molecular signal exchange between tissues.

Ebook "Studying cell metabolism and cell interactions using microfluidic devices coupled with mass spectrometry" describes a new approach for cell analysis by the rapid developing microfluidic technology. The nominee has made great contributions to develop a new analysis platform which combined microfluidic devices with mass spectrometry to determine the trace compounds secreted by cells. Based on this analysis platform, she studied the specific cell secreting behaviors under controlled microenvironment, of which the secretion compounds were qualified and semi-quantified by mass spectrometry.

In ebook "Plant-environment interactions: From sensory plant biology to active plant behavior" documents a paradigm shift that is currently underway in the plant sciences. In the last two or three decades, plants have been unmasked as being very sensitive organisms that monitor and integrate large numbers of abiotic and biotic parameters from their environment. The obvious conservation that occurs throughout evolution means that action potentials provide both plants and animals with evolutionary advantages that are crucial to their adaptive behavior and survival.
