  • The research findings revealed that tourism agencies in Malacca were still in the early stages of E-business usage, with only (54%) of the travel agencies are online. The factor of saving time (M = 4.3492) was the key benefit in Ebusiness usage while the factor of hackers’ intervention (M = 3.8730) was revealed to be the most deterring factor that causes the tourism agencies reluctance to adopt E-business practice. This study shows that government aims of Ebusiness tourism have not been fully realized the benefit.

  • In rural India, the percentage of women who depend on agriculture for their livelihood is as high as 84%.Apart from participation in actual cultivation; women participate in various forms of processing and marketing of agricultural produce. Women accounted for 93% of total employment in dairy production. To begin with training programmes were started to self-help groups (SHG) on labour saving equipment, processing, value addition and storage of grains followed by model processing units establishment in rural areas.   • Floriculture industry in India is in a boom in recent years. Maharashtra is the leading state in India for cut roses consumption and export. The study is based on data collected from 30 producers growing cut roses in polyhouses around Pune city for the year 2013-14. The average cost of erection of polyhouse (0.24 ha.) was around Rs.23.13 Lakhs. The average cost of cultivation of cut roses was worked to Rs. 5.97 lakh and it was decreased across the size group of polyhouses.
