  • The study of the nature of scalar fields without mass parameter interacting with stiff perfect fluid in Bianchi type space- times is a subject of interest due to its significant role in the description of the universe at the early stages of evolution. Patel [1] obtained the static and non-static plane symmetric solutions of the field equations in presence of zeromass scalar field. Singh and Deo [2] considered Robertson Walker metric and investigated the problem of zero-mass scalar field interactions in the presence of gravitational field with and without the source term in the wave equation.

  • We will examine whether anisotropic hairs exist in a string-inspired scalar-GaussBonnet gravity model with the absence of potential of scalar field during the inflationary phase. As a result, we are able to obtain the Bianchi type I power-law solution to this model under the assumption that the scalar field acts as the phantom field, whose kinetic is negative definite. However, the obtained anisotropic hair of this model turns out to be large, which is inconsistent with the observational data.

  • In particular, we will show that the studied models really admit the Bianchi type I metrics, which are homogeneous but anisotropic space time, as their stable cosmological solutions. Hence, these models turn out to be counterexamples to the cosmic no-hair conjecture.
