Bihar with the purpose

The training can be more effective and significant when analysis of training needs prior to the beginning of training programmes and imparting knowledge according to the needs of the farmers. The present study was conducted in the Madhepura District of Bihar with the purpose of identifying training needs of buffalo farmers. Seven different farming practices were undertaken for study as farmers training needs. Under each major component, specific and relevant training need items were collected and systematically incorporated into the structured interview schedule.

Dairy farming offers great opportunity for enhancing farm income and raising the socioeconomic status and quality of life of rural people. Rural women plays significant role in carrying out the responsibility of dairying through their membership in WDCS. The present study was conducted to ascertain the improvement in their quality of life through participation in dairy enterprise. For the purpose, a total 210 members of WDCS in Barauni dairy was selected by adopting appropriate sampling procedure.

Betel vine (Piper betle L. ) in India is grown as an important cash crop across the states, of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu, Assam, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. The Indian betel leaves are in great demand in several countries like where demand far exceeds the local supply. Cultivation of betel vine is one of the most important horticultural crops, is gradually increasing its popularity in the Nadia districts as cash crop.

Ergonomic designed kitchen has become the need of almost all the women keeping into consideration their multifarious activities. Ergonomics contributes to designing and evaluation of task, products, environment and system in order to make them compatible with the needs, abilities and limitations of homemakers. Most of the women are not aware of ergonomic design of kitchen. Keeping these rational in mind the study was conducted in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar State.
