Indian Robusta Coffee has made a slot for itself in the world market, particularly for its decent blend up quality. In India production of Robusta is more i.e. around 62–65%. Indian coffee prices are often random as they are largely inclined on production, demand of coffee in domestic and world level forces, etc. In this study Hybrid ARIMA-ANN models was compared with ARIMA and ANN model to evaluate the past behaviour of a time series data, in order to make inferences about its future behaviour for Robusta species of Indian coffee.

This study was carried out to determine the suitability of sago starch blended with acrylamide as paper additive. Solutions of unmodified and blended sago starch with acrylamide, were prepared at 5% weight over volume (w/v) basis before the basic properties (i.e., pH, viscosity and solid content) were determined. The starches were then used to coat on laboratory made handsheets from recycled pulps. Various effects were studied, namely, modification of sago starch, addition of different types of initiator and further curing at different temperatures.

A field experiment was conducted at IGAU, Raipur during 2001-02 and 2002-03 in hybrid rice-safflower cropping system. Maximum seed yield and all energy parameters were highest under the residual effect of 75% rec. N blended with CDU. As regards to direct effect, 100 % rec. N produced maximum seed yield. Whereas, energy parameters i.e. energy use efficiency, energy productivity and energy output input ratio were highest under no nitrogen.

In food processing industry blending is an art to develop different colours, aroma, astringency, taste to suit the requirement. Grape squash is a healthy drink both for children and adults. Grape juice has all good quality present in grape wine. Considering nutritional value and to prevent post harvest losses the present investigation was carried out with the objective to explore the compatibility and acceptability of grape squash by blending four varieties of grapes i.e. PusaNavarang, Concord, H23 and Banglore Blue in different proportions (1:1 and 1:2) with 8 treatments.

Highly tensile manganese steel is in great demand owing to its high tensile strength under shock loads. All workpieces are produced through casting, because it is highly difficult to machine. The probabilistic aspects of its casting, its variable composition, and the different casting techniques must all be considered for the optimisation of its mechanical properties. A hybrid strategy is therefore proposed which combines decision trees and artificial neural networks (ANNs) for accurate and reliable prediction models for ore crushing plate lifetimes.

A laboratory study is performed to evaluate the influence of elevated temperature on the strength and microstructural properties of high strength concretes (HSCs) containing ground pumice (GP), and blend of ground pumice and metakaolin (MK) mixture. Twelve different mixtures of HSCs containing GP and MK were produced, water-to-binder ratio was kept constant as 0.20. Hardened concrete specimens were exposed to 250 C, 500 C and 750 C elevated temperatures increased with a heating rate of 5 C/min.

Step 1 The initial sketch, again taken from a still frame of a DVD. This took no more than ten minutes, and serves only as a guide to the overall shape and placement of the features. Step 1 Basic colour applied in blocks with no blending. Lots of white space is showing through the gaps, which is something I try to avoid now. I originally painted in his curl of hair over the forehead, but then I painted it out, as I realised I would have to work on the flesh tone first, then paint the hair over it later. The general layout is looking good at this stage.

Draw some outlines.. See where the darkest parts are, and darken them. .This is roughly how I draw irises: Again, shade the darkest parts first! Then, shade the rest of the eye.
