Early death remains a major factor in survival in APL. We aimed to analyze the risk factors for differentiation syndrome and early death in acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL). The clinical data of APL patients who were newly diagnosed at Mianyang Central Hospital from January 2013 to January 2022 were retrospectively analyzed.

This research was based on some characteristics of the erythrocyte and leukocyte cells of 9 Miniopterus schreibersii (♀♀) samples collected from Balıkesir Province in Turkey between July 2015 and September 2016. Bats were caught from an artificial cave using special nets. Blood was taken in heparinized hematocrit tubes from the forearm or tail membrane in the laboratory and the blood smears were prepared. The erythrocyte and leukocyte counts, hemoglobin concentration, and hematocrit values in the blood were determined.

A rare case of caprine theileriosis is described and discussed in this report. The present study was conducted on 12 dogs of either, sex, breed, aged between 1-8 years brought to T.V.C.C, Jabalpur having a diaphyseal fracture in any of the long bones i.e. Humerus, femur and tibia. The dogs were randomly divided into three equal groups irrespective of breed and sex. The radiographs in two standard views were taken to diagnose the fracture and to select optimum titanium pins. In all the three groups, the diaphyseal fractures were repaired with internal fixation using titanium elastic pin. In group I, the fracture was repaired by using the titanium pin alone.

Primary graft failure is a lethal complication that occurs after allogeneic stem cell transplantation（allo-SCT）and requires retransplantation. We retrospectively assessed 1,355 patients who underwent allo-SCT at our institute. Sweet's syndrome, or febrile neutrophilic dermatosis, was originally described in women with elevated white blood cell (WBC) counts. The disease is characterized by the presence of leukocytes in the lower dermis, with edema of the papillary body. Ironically, this disease now is usually seen in neutropenic patients with cancer, most often in association with acute leukemia but also in association with a variety of other malignancies. Sweet's syndrome usually presents as red or bluish-red papules or nodules that may coalesce and form sharply bordered plaques.
