Horse gram is highly proteinaceous important food legume crop. The present study was conducted at IGKV, RMD CARS, research and instructional farm Ambikapur, during Kharif2019 using 24 genotypes of horse gram. The observation was recorded for eleven characters viz., days to 50% flowering, days to maturity, plant height, number of branches per plant, number of pods per plant, pod length, number of seed per pod, 100 seed weight, seed yield, biological yield and harvest index to study the correlation and path coefficient analysis.

The experiment “studies on collection and evaluation of genetic variability available in Amaranthus under Chhattisgarh plain condition” was conducted at Horticulture Research cum Instructional Farm, Department of Horticulture, Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur (C.G.) during Rabi 2014-15. Twenty five genotypes of Amaranthus were evaluated. High magnitude of phenotypic GCV and PCV was observed for seed yield plot-1 , followed by test weight, petiole length, number of leaves plant-1 , stem girth, leaf breadth, leaf length, number of branches plant-1 and leaf yield.

Chitrakoot to evaluate the appropriate dose of suitable organic matters used on green gram under rainfed condition. November, 03, 10 and November, 17, 2011 and used three varieties of mustard viz. Vaibhav, Vardan and Varuna with four replication under Split Plot Design. A field experiment was conducted during rabi seasons of 2016–17 and 2017–18 at the instructional farm of Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya to study the varietal response of buckwheat in northern parts of West Bengal. The experiment was laid out in randomised block design with four replications. The treatments were five buckwheat varieties: VL UGAL 7, PRB 1, Himpriya, Himgiri and Sangla B 1 taken in the present study.

Thirty Recombinant Inbred Lines (RILs) of F 8 generation derived from Langulmota/Sambamahsuri were tested for variability of yield and yield attributing characters along with parents and three check varieties during kharif-2016, at the Instructional farm, Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswa Vidyalya, Jaguli, Nadia, West Bengal. The lines S2, S28, S10, S24, S17 shown yield advantage of 4.78%, 4.58%, 4.1%, 3.48%, and 2.7% respectively as compared to both parents and checks. Lines S2, S10, S17, S5 and S3 shown yield advantage of 35.83%, 34.94%, 33.12%, 32.94% and 32.
