Camera image processing model

This study presents the results of processing images of Do Son beach based on images. Camera image processing is calibrated based on real measurements of control points. Camera images are processed to capture shoreline and beach developments for the period from August 2018 to October 2019.

In this work, we introduce a new landmark detection approach using vision-based data. Based on this approach, we exploit a deep neural network for processing images from a stereo camera system installed on mobile robots. Two deep neural network models named YOLOv3 and PSMNet were re-trained and used to perform the landmark detection and landmark localization, respectively.

The central beach in west coast of Nha Trang bay has experienced erosion in recent years. The determination of hydrodynamic regime and causes of this beach fluctuation is still an open problem and is concerned by scientists and managers. This study shows the causes and scales of the shoreline change processes based on the results of shoreline change model and the analysis of remote sensing images of shoreline location.

The temperature distribution from the top to the bottom of the network is determined by an infrared camera and then these results are adopted in the mathematical model algorithm. During the drying process, the series of images showing the phase change in network is observed and recorded, which will be processed with an algorithm built in MATLAB. From that, we find out the change of network saturation, drying rate and the increase in the number of clusters and in the size of the main cluster in network.

This article describes a process to model the differential motion of a mobile manipulator which is a two-degree-of-freedom robotic arm (pan-tilt) mounted on a wheeled mobile robot (WMR). Next, a new visual servoing is designed for this pan-tilt arm with the purpose of making the image feature of a target converge to the center of the image plane of a camera attached to the arm’s end-effector.
