The study was conducted in Milkipur and Masodha block of Faizabad district by conducting personal interview with 160 respondents those were selected though proportionate random sampling technique on the criteria of high school, intermediate and graduation. The study depicted that the highest number of respondents (36% Milkipur, 43% Masodha) was found in age category of 15 to 19 years belonged to nuclear families (68%, 72%) and having 5-7 members in their families (47%, 55%) Except all respondents were unmarried and general caste respondents were more in comparison to other categories of caste.

The present study was conducted in Sri Dungargarh and Bikaner panchayat samities of Bikaner district of Rajasthan. The study was undertaken to assess the Body Mass Index (BMI) of adolescent students to ascertain nutritional status, nutritional awareness level among the student and provide nutritional education to the vulnerable group. The anthropometric measurements like height and weight were recorded to compute the Body Mass Index (BMI) among 125 students studying in 8th and 9th Standard at one of the Government high school of Shorapur taluk, Yadgir district. The present study was conducted in all the six different agro-climatic zones of Punjab state to know about demographic profile parameters (age, sex, education, main occupation, family size, family type, land holdings and category) of farmers engaged in goat farming. To study the knowledge of dairy animal owners in improved dairy husbandry practices a field survey in Bihar state was conducted during April-June’2016. Data were collected through personal interview from randomly selected 1550 dairy animal owners from randomly selected villages from Chhapra, Vaishali district of Bihar with the help of pretested structured schedule. Survey indicates that the 71.67 percentage of the livestock farmers belonged to middle age category range from 35-50 years, followed by 15.00 percent in young age category and 13.33% belonged to old age category.
