This book explores the remedies necessary for regional revitalization with a focus on Japan’s unique Hometown Tax Donation system. In particular, the study is centered around the analysis of the system’s effect on financing and peripheral areas. In the past, the major financing scheme for regions was to write up a document requesting subsidies from the central government (i.e., Kasumigaseki), and to thereby secure a budget.

Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana is a State Plan Scheme of Additional Central Assistance launched in August 2007 as a part of the 11th Five Year Plan by the Government of India under National Development Council, to achieve 4% annual growth in agriculture through development of Agriculture and its allied sectors. A fund of Rs 4,09090/- was allocated to DAATTC, Ranga Reddy PJTSAU during 2012-2014 for organizing onfarm testing, Farmers training programmes and exposure visits. Farmers of Ranga Reddy District cultivate rice in a larger area as major food crop.

The present study was undertaken with a view to study the extent of awareness and utilization of the selected central government schemes by the women in the Jogulama Gadwal district in Jogulama Gadwal (Rural) of Telangana state. The ongoing schemes viz. ICDS, SSY, KGBV, SABLA were selected to study the extent of awareness among women. A total of 60 women were selected and majority of the respondents belonged to the 25- 45 year‟s age groups. The data was collected through personal interviews with the help of the structured schedules and was analyzed using standard statistical tools.
