Change the students’ attitud

Graduation thesis "A study on the first year English majors’ difficulties in learning lexical collocations at Hai Phong Management and Technology University" is to find out the difficulties students often deal with during the time they learn English collocations and give them suggestions for better ways of learning lexical collocations. The researcher wants to change the students’ attitude on speaking English and let them find English speaking more interesting, especially learning collocation.

The main purposes of the this study are: To examine the state of references to different cultural groups and cultural categories presented in the reading passages of the textbook English 12; to find out the learners‟ attitudes and expectations on cultural contents in the textbook English 12 and their culture learning at Phuc Tho high school; to give some pedagogical implications that may raise students‟ cultural awareness and hope to contribute some possitive changes in teaching and learning English in the current context at Phuc Tho High school.

The aim of this study is applying techniques for students to improve their nonverbal communication. Besides, this is also a way to help both the teacher and students love nonverbal communication more and get higher effectiveness in communication. The author wants to change the students’ attitude on nonverbal communication and let them find nonverbal communication more interesting.

The aim of this study is finding out helpful games for teaching reading lessons which attract students’ attention to the lesson. The students will feel interested, enjoyable and funny when they take part in the reading lesson and it's helpful for students to improve their reading skill in which the study focuses on finding the reality of the first year English majors’ learning English reading and giving them the suggestions for better reading. The author wants to change the students’ attitude on reading English and let them find English reading more interesting.
