The article will be focused on methods of chemical modification of NR and the use of improved traditional fillers such as carbon black (CB) and silica. Modification reactions include epoxidation, hydrogenation, and grafting vinyl monomers onto NR molecules. Some methods of surface modification of NR film were also reviewed. Thanks to modification the NR degree of unsaturatiton is decrease that leads to its enhanced aging resistance.

Precise description of the dynamics of biological processes would enable the mathematical analysis and computational simulation of complex biological phenomena. Languages such as Chemical Reaction Networks and Process Algebras cater for the detailed description of interactions among individuals and for the simulation and analysis of ensuing behaviors of populations.

Numerical solutions of the chemical master equation (CME) are important for understanding the stochasticity of biochemical systems. However, solving CMEs is a formidable task. This task is complicated due to the nonlinear nature of the reactions and the size of the networks which result in different realizations.

Metabolism is generally modeled by directed networks where nodes represent reactions and/or metabolites. In order to explore metabolic pathway conservation and divergence among organisms, previous studies were based on graph alignment to find similar pathways.

Constraint-based metabolic flux analysis of knockout strategies is an efficient method to simulate the production of useful metabolites in microbes. Owing to the recent development of technologies for artificial DNA synthesis, it may become important in the near future to mathematically design minimum metabolic networks to simulate metabolite production.

The reactions form chains and rings of alumino-silicate networks in geopolymeric structures. The raw materials used for geopolymerization normally contain high SiO2 and Al2O3 in the chemical compositions such as meta-kaoline, rice husk ash, fly ash, bottom ash, blast furnace slag, red mud, and others. The geopolymer-based material has potentials to replace Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC)-based materials in the future because of its lower energy consumption, minimal CO2 emissions and lower production cost as it utilizes industrial waste resources.

Chemical doping nitrogen in to TiO2 crystal network by methods of sol-gel and impregnation was presented. The obtained nitrogen-doped TiO2 materials were characterized by different techniques such as XRD, SEM, UV-VIS. It was shown that samples have very uniform nano size, anatas structure and low level of band-gap energy (Ebg ~ 2.2 eV, ~ 500 - 600 nm). Their activity and kinetic were also studied and the results proved that in comparison with P25, the obtained nitrogen-doped TiO2 had higher activity and photo-quantum efficiency in organic disintegrated reaction under solar radiation.

In this paper we address the problem of extracting features relevant for predicting protein±protein interaction sites from the three-dimensional structures of protein complexes. Our approach is based on information about evolutionary con-servation and surface disposition. We implement a neural network based system, which uses a cross validation proce-dure and allows the correct detection of 73% of the residues involved in protein interactions in a selected database comprising 226 heterodimers.

The structurally homologous mononuclear iron and man-ganese superoxide dismutases (FeSOD and MnSOD, respectively) containa highly conservedglutamine residue in the active site which projects toward the active-site metal centre and participates in an extensive hydrogen bonding network. The position of this residue is different for each SOD isoenzyme (Q69 in FeSOD and Q146 in MnSOD of Escherichia coli).

We introduce the basic concepts and develop a theory for nonequilibrium steady-state biochemical systems applicable to analyzing large-scale complex isothermal reaction networks. In terms of the stoichiometric matrix, we dem-onstrate both Kirchhoff’s flux lawR‘J‘ ¼0 over a bio-chemical species, and potential law R‘l‘ ¼0overa reaction loop. They reflect mass and energy conservation, respectively.

Proteins participate in complex sets of interactions that represent the mech-anistic foundation for much of the physiology and function of the cell. These protein–protein interactions are organized into exquisitely complex networks. The architecture of protein–protein interaction networks was recently proposed to be scale-free, with most of the proteins having only one or two connections but with relatively fewer ‘hubs’ possessing tens, hundreds or more links.

Metabolically unstable proteins are involved in a multitude of regulatory networks, including those that control cell signaling, the cell cycle and in many responses to physiological stress. In the present study, we have deter-mined the stability and characterized the degradation process of some members of the Gq class of heterotrimeric G proteins. Pulse-chase experi-ments in HEK293 cells indicated a rapid turnover of endogenously expressed Gaq and overexpressed Gaq and Ga16 subunits.

Our laboratory is interested in the biochemical and biophysical basis of cell structure. The structure of a cell is determined primarily by its cytoskeleton, which serves as a scaffold to sup-port the plasma membrane, and as a network of tracks along which motor proteins transport sub cellular structures. Our research is therefore focused on the mechanics of the cytoskele-ton, with a particular emphasis on microtubules and microtu-bule-based motors.

Signal transduction pathways are often embedded in com-plex networks, which result from interactions between pathways and feedback circuitry. In order to understand such networks, qualitative information on which inter-actions take place and quantitative data on their strength become essential.

Cellular functions are ultimately linked to metabolic fluxes brought about by thousands of chemical reactions and transport processes. The synthesisof theunderlying enzymes and membrane transporters causes the cell a certaineffort of energyandexternal resources.Considering that those cells should have had a selection advantage during natural evo-lution that enabled them to fulfil vital functions (such as growth, defence against toxic compounds, repair of DNA alterations, etc.)
