Citrate complexes

In this work, we carried out a study on NiTiO3 nanomaterial synthesized via citrategel method. The structural characteristics were determined by basic X-ray diffraction analysis. SEM analysis showed the surface morphology of the sample. The impedance spectra analysis was used to elucidate the dependence of complex impedance values on temperature and frequency.

This paper provides the calculation of the distribution of the concentrations of complex particles of the Sn(II) - citrate - water system in the solution volume, on the surface of the electrode, and in the diffusion layer for the tin citrate electrolyte containing an excess of the ligand. Based on the calculations for the electrodeposition of tin, an electrolyte containing [SnCit]2− complex at pH 8.0 was chosen.

In this study, two heterometallic transition metal complexes with the formulas [CoK4(µ10-C6H5O7)2]n and [CdK(µ8-C6H5O7)(µ-H2O)(H2O)]n were synthesized as crystalline compounds. The structures of these crystalline metal complexes were characterized by their spectral analyses (FT-IR, FT-Raman, thermal analysis, magnetic properties, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction techniques). According to the spectral data of the new metal complexes obtained, both metal complexes are in the monoclinic crystal system and in the P21/c and P21 space groups, respectively.

The isotope effects of neodymium in Nd-glycolate ligand exchange system were studied by using ion exchange chromatography. The separation coefficients of neodymium isotopes, e’s, were calculated from the observed isotopic ratios at the front and rear boundaries of the neodymium adsorption band.

The characteristics of two perovkites and a blend of mixed oxides prepared by reactive grinding and citrate complex method have been comparatively investigated using several techniques (X-ray, BET, H2-TPR, chemisorption, O2-TPD). XRD results confirm the successful substitution of Co by Cu in the lattice of La(Co,Cu)O3 perovkite. The ground materials with smaller particle sizes and larger surface area show more thermal stability than does the citratederived sample under the same reducing conditions.

Nanometer perovskite-type complex oxide La1-xSrxMnO3 was prepared by sol-gel method using citrate ion as ligand. The formation process of La1-xSrxMnO3was investigated by DTA, TGA, DTGA, TEM and XRD. The BET surface area of the obtained perovskite was also determined. The results show that the nanocrystalline structure maybe created since the temperature 260o C. When the calcining temperature increases from 260o C to 600o C so the particle size raises from 10 nm to 40 nm and BET surface area decreases from 13,467 m2 /g to 6,273 m2 /g.

Different members of the family are specific for the metal ion in the complex and have been shown to transport Mg 2+ –cit-rate, Ca 2+ –citrate or Fe 3+ –citrate. The crystal structure of the dimericO-acetylserine sulfhydrylase isozyme B from Escherichia coli(CysM), complexed with the substrate analog citrate, has been determined at 1.33 A˚ resolution by X-ray diffraction analysis. The C1-carboxylate of citrate was bound at the carboxylate position of O-acetylserine, whereas the C6-carboxylate adopted two conformations.

The crystal structure of the highly thermostablel-aspartate dehydrogenase (l-aspDH; EC 1.4.1.21) from the hyperthermophilic archaeon Archaeoglo-bus fulgiduswas determined in the presence of NAD and a substrate ana-log, citrate. The dimeric structure of A. fulgidusl-aspDH was refined at a resolution of 1.9 A ˚ with a crystallographicR-factor of 21.7% (Rfree ¼ 22.6%).
