The present study focuses on the preparation of silver/copper bimetallic hybrid nanoparticles by green method from precursor solutions of silver nitrate & copper nitrate and the locally available citrus fruit (lemon) peel extract which behaves as the stabilizing and reducing agent. Initially, the formation of hybrid nanoparticles was noticed in the reaction mixture by colour change.

Da Xanh pomelo (Citrus maxima) is a fruit tree with many nutrients and high economic value. However, nematode attacks are one of the factors that limit productivity. Plants are the main source of drugs nowadays. They provide a high benefit to risk ratio. Naringenin is a plant flavonoid obtained from citrus fruits. It exhibits plethora of effects against a number of diseases. Agar dilution method was used to evaluate minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) naringenin and three β-lactam drugs amoxicillin, oxacillin and cloxacillin. Checkerboard method was used to determine the fractional inhibitory concentration (FIC) of the drugs in combination with naringenin.
