Co-planar Waveguide

In this paper, the preparation and characterization of the ultrafast photoconductive switch for generation of short current pulses are mentioned, which will be applied in the characterization of components, such as fast field effect transistor, fast resonant tunneling diodes and the investigation of pulse propagation called waveguides Current pulses are generated by a low-temperature grown GaAs (LT-GaAs) photoconductive switch and then guided through a coplanar waveguide.

In this paper, a metamaterial antenna is designed by using coplanar waveguide (CPW) feeding to obtain wideband and compact size. The Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) antenna is constructed by placing side-by-side two single metamaterial antennas which are based on the modified composite right/left handed (CRLH) model.

This paper proposes a novel uni-planar dual-band antenna using Composite Right Left Handed (CRLH) transmission line (CRLH-TL). Proposed antenna is designed based on the fringing effects of metamaterials and combined with coplanar waveguide (CPW) feeding in order to create two frequency bands for WLAN applications at the 2.4 and 5.5 GHz bands.
