Efficacy and safety of carbon dioxide laser system in the treatment of scalp sebaceous adenoma with the use of a new scanner unit

The clinical and aesthetic results observed after laser procedure were excellent, with a complete remission of patient’s scalp SA lesion at 4 weeks’ follow-up. Patient satisfaction was very high, and no side effects were observed. Determination of carbon dioxide concentration in the atmosphere from absorption spectra

In this study, we use absorption spectra to determine the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere. The absorption spectra of CO2 corresponding to three transitions in the midinfrared region were recorded at room temperature using a diode laser system. Ambient air was charged into the absorption cell (White-type) with an optical path of 24 to 40 m and total pressure of 4 Torr to 300 Torr.
