The paper results showed that the more than ten years mangrove community is a stable forest biome. Mangroves from 10 years old should be planned with different species to increase the diversity in species structure and enhance the ability to stabilize the community and withstand changes in coastal habitats.

Competition and environmental stress are crucial factors for structuring plant population in natural habitats. Cyperus arenarius, a sedge of coastal sand dunes habitat, is a suitable species for coastal restoration and dune stabilization, but how salinity and plant density interact in affecting its growth is still unknown. Here, growth, survival, and physiological responses of C. arenarius to salinity (sea-salt) and plant density were investigated.

In this paper, we constructed the halophyte Mesocosm experimental group which was used as a substrate material that consisted of tidal flat and dredged sediment. Depending on whether the ingredients of vegetation and substrate material of Mesocosm, we constructed Mesocosm A (tidal flat sediment + Salicornia herbecea), Mesocosm B (only dredged sediment), Mesocosm C (dredged sediment + Salicornia herbecea).

The coastal sabkha in Ras Gemsa, Red Sea coast with its colonizing microbial mats and biofilms was investigated. The sabkha sediments consist mainly of terrigenous siliciclastic material accompanied by the development of evaporites. Halite serves as a good conduit for light and reduces the effect of intensive harmful solar radiation, which allows microbial mats to survive and flourish.

In Vietnam, amour stone, concrete, reinforced concrete and polypropylene bag have been widely used in the construction of sea shore protection. The main reason causes erosion of the coastal area is the wave and current. Thus, for sea shore protection, coastal reinforced materials are resistant to erosion by seawater, wave load and current load.

A brief overview of some available alternative systems for shore stabilization and beach erosion control is presented. Special attention is paid to artificial reefs and geosystems. Geosystems have gained popularity in recent years because of their simplicity in placement, cost effectiveness and environmental aspects.

There are also papers suggesting that the link between central bank finances and policy outcomes is not straightforward, and that other aspects are crucial, too. For example, Ueda (2004) wrote: “Summing up the experiences of insolvent central banks, my conclusion is that the maintenance of a sound balance sheet is, in general, neither a necessary nor a sufficient condition for fulfilling a central bank’s responsibility, but there have been cases where an unhealthy balance sheet became a major obstacle to price stability.
