Coefficient of variance

The present study was based on the bacula of 39 male (17 juvenile, 22 adult) stone marten (Martes foina) samples obtained from all geographical regions of Turkey between 1995 and 2016. Morphological variability in 11 characteristics of bacula was investigated. The purpose of this study was to measure numerical characters of the baculum, to identify relationships between measurements, and to evaluate variabilities in its morphology.

The main aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of montmorillonite clay for the adsorption of C.I. Basic Yellow 2 (BY2) dye from aqueous media. The experimental results were processed by response surface methodology based on a central composite design (CCD). The effect of four main variables, including initial BY2 concentration, adsorbent dosage, reaction time, and temperature on the removal of BY2 was evaluated by the model. The accuracy of the model and regression coefficients was appraised by employing analysis of variance.

Amorphous cerium phosphate was prepared and characterized. Three-level Box-Behnken design (BBD) was employed to analyze the effect of process variables such as initial pH (2–6), contact time (60–180 min), and sorbent amount (0.05–0.15 g) on the sorption capacity of europium. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) revealed that the main effect of initial pH and sorbent amount has a substantial impact on the sorption of Eu(III). Probability F-value (F = 3 × 10 −3 ) and correlation coefficient (R2 = 0.97) point out that the model is in good accordance with experimental data.

The study finds out the symmetry in sensitivity and trend of Oil prices (OP), GDP, and Public Spending Avenues (PSA) and the impact of volatility of oil prices on the GDP, and PSA. The analysis is based on the Chain based Index (CBI) and Fixed Based Index (FBI) numbers to get the sensitivity and trend movement of the variables.

A field experiment was conducted to estimate the genetic variability, trait association and path coefficient analysis among the Indian mustard genotypes during rabi, 2019. Analysis of variance revealed the mean sum of squares due to genotypes was highly significant for all the characters studies indicating the existence of ample variability among the genotypes studied. The high GCV and PCV observed for number of siliquae per plant and secondary branches per plant indicated the influence of environment on the expression of these characters were at minimum level.

Genetic variability, heritability and genetic advance were studied in 22 germplasms of Dolichos beans for yield attributing traits. Analysis of variance revealed significant differences among the genotypes for all the characters studied. For all the characters studied, phenotypic coefficients of variability were higher in magnitude than genotypic coefficients of variability, though difference was very less in majority of the cases.

This research uses coefficient of variation and volatility analysis with the ARCH GARCH method. Based on the results, the price of food commodities is more volatile after the adoption of the Renewable Fuel Standard 2 (RFS) policy in 2007. The results of the study show that development of biofuels (from corn and soybeans) have a higher level of volatility than the other two commodities (rice and wheat) due to the variance of rice and wheat was lower than corn and soybeans.

A field experiment was conducted during rabi season of 2016-17 at Research Farm, Rajasthan College of Agriculture, MPUAT, Udaipur to study “ Genetic Variability and Path Analysis in Opium poppy (Papaver somniferum L.)” was carried out using 25 genotypes were planted in randomized block design including 2 checks. The data obtained were subjected to analysis of variance, estimation of different variability parameters and path coefficient analysis. The observations were recorded on five randomly selected plants for twelve characters.

Studies of genetic variability revealed high phenotypic and genotypic coefficients of variation, heritability and genetic advance as per cent of mean for the traits viz., number of basal tillers per plant, no. of productive tillers per plant, main ear width, grain yield per plant and grain yield per plot indicating simple selection can be practiced for improvement of these characters.

In this study, the dynamics of changes have been measured in the export of raw cotton from India to different export markets. The compound growth rate, Coefficient of Variance (CV), Cuddy-Della Index and Markov chain analysis were used to analyse the secondary data of raw cotton export for the last 17 years. The result reveals that the export of Indian raw cotton was mainly focused on Bangladesh, Vietnam, Pakistan, China, and Indonesia. Though the export of raw cotton generates better returns, all the countries showed higher instability during the study period.

Eleven genotypes of garlic were evaluated for genetic variability and correlation for fifteen quantitative traits.
