A resource model of extension as suggested by Salmon (1980), puts farmers and researchers as equally important contributors. The function of the extension is to transfer and nurture this pool of knowledge within the rural system. The concept of leadership has undergone considerable change as research in this area of study progressed.

The increasing penetration of ICT’S in agriculture scenario makes an opportunity to disseminate the useful information more widely among the farming community. These ICT’s are helping to meet the information needs of farmer. The present study was carried out in Warangal district of Telangana state by selecting the 60 beneficiary farmers of mobile phone based agro-advisory services. The specific objectives of the study were to know the usefulness and perception towards mobile phone based agro advisories. The results showed that 48.33 per cent of respondents indicated as mobile phone based agro-advisories were moderately useful and the majority (50.00%) of the respondents had positive perception towards the mobile phone based agro-advisories.

In the present paper the year wise production and sales of organic inputs are taken into account to derive the total area and economic impact thereof. The receipts of produce sold at laboratories served as the source of information to the study. The results indicate that, the sale of inputs is on rise, so also the farmers who are adopting these technologies in their own field are also more. People are approaching KVK for these technologies. Present study focused to investigate social-personal characteristics of farmers conserving traditional crop in six districts of North-Eastern Karnataka which constitutes of 30 respondents with the help of snowball technique. Aim of the study is to determine the stakeholders’ perception about the characteristics of technology transfers to farmers and their participation at different stages of technology assessment, refinement and validation under ATMA, 18 stakeholders of ATMA were selected randomly. Findings of the study revealed that stakeholders have more awareness about the technology generation/refinement /validation activities in cereals crops.
