This study proposes appropriate methods for supporting instructors in the development of course plans by explaining how the use of a learning management system (LMS) relates to teachers’ epistemology and course characteristics. By analyzing the data, the authors identified three categories of courses taught at undergraduate levels: (1) knowledge construction, (2) knowledge transmission, and (3) mixed. In knowledge construction courses, instructors need to transform students’ conceptions of learning and the LMS must support, among other things, students’ cognition and interaction.

Within psychology, psychological literacy (the skills, knowledge and attributes acquired as outcomes of studying psychology) is becoming increasingly central to the curriculum.

In many recent researches, advanced technologies have proved to effectively facilitate foreign language teaching and make English speaking so much more fun to learn with. However, whether multimedia really enhances students’ competence in oral communication in the Northern mountainous region of Vietnam like in Thai Nguyen province has not yet been fully investigated.

Consensus is always difficult. Even in the setting of level I evidence, competing interpretations, experiences and interests present challenges to the best-intentioned analyses. Consensus requires commitment to the process, time, a spirit of collaboration and, above all, leadership. For many, Andy Novick’s career was both the quintessence of leadership and the embodiment of the best in academic urology.
