This article conducts an exhaustive investigation into the utilization of machine learning (ML) methods for forecasting the maximum load capacity (MLC) of circular reinforced concrete columns (CRCC) using Fiber-Reinforced Polymer (FRP). Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGB) algorithm is combined with novel metaheuristic algorithms, namely Sailfish Optimizer and Aquila Optimizer, to fine-tune its hyperparameters.

In this study, Zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles with a size of about 50 - 70 nm were green-synthesized using tea leaves and ZnO/Polypyrrole (ZnO/Ppy) nanocomposites were obtained by ultrasonic-assisted chemical polymerization method using pyrrole monomer and the nanoparticles. The characterization of the materials is conducted using several analytical techniques, including Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM) and X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and Ultraviolet visible spectrum (UV-Vis).

In the present study, we have made an attempt to prepare complexed PVA-PVP-KNO3-BaTiO3 blend composite polymer electrolyte membranes composed of potassium nitrate (KNO3) as salt and BaTiO3 of various concentrations as filler and studied their properties. The advantages of addition the fillers are the increase in ionic conductivity at room temperatures and the improvement of the stability at the interface with electrodes.

In the current context of eco-pollution, the substitute of conventional plastics with bioplastics is a big confront. On account of that, a non-growth associated PHB production study was conducted using Zobellella species under submerged fermentation process. As a result, Zobellella species showed the ability to accumulate 2.2g/L of PHB at pH 8. 0, temperature 37oC, salt concentration 2% in modified growth medium containing vitamins. Then, primary structural characterization of extracted polymer was conducted by FTIR analysis. The high intense peak was obtained at 1720.

The electrooxidation of 5-hydroxy-1,4-naphthoquinone (JUG) in organic media leads to conducting polymer film on glassy and Pt electrodes. The IR ex situ, IR in situ (MIRFTIRS) during the film formation, XPS studies indicate that electropolymerization occurs via the OH group while quinone group on the other ring remains intact and shows a very good electro activity and stability in different media, particularly in aqueous, biocompatible one.

The conducting polymer poly(5-hydroxy-1,4-naphthoquinone-co-5-hydroxy-3-acetic acid-1,4- naphthoquinone) with electroactive quinone group was investigated by Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) in aqueous medium. The evaluations of parameters of equivalent circuit in term of applied potential were considered. The simulated EIS data presented a good agreement with the results obtained by other electrochemical methods.

The development of concept in structural morphology lets description the location of nickel nanoclusters in conductive organic polymers, which may be a new kind of structure in conductive organic polymer composites family. This study is focused on the synthesis of a polyindole doped by indole-3 butyric acid (PI-IBA). IR analyze indicated that the linkage positions of indole involves the position 2 and 3 of the monomer and the insertion of IBA in the polymer backbone. Polyindole IBA doped was incorporated into epoxy resin for protection anticorrosion of carbon steel. The electrochemical impedance measurements show a significantly improvement of protective properties in presence of PI-IBA in comparison with pure epoxy and epoxy containing polyindole coating.
