The present study on marketing cost, marketing margin and price spread of pigeonpea was conducted in Latur market. For the present study different marketing channels, marketing margins, price spread and producers share in consumer’s rupee were calculated.   • A study was conducted to analyze the marketing pattern of poultry layer farms in Namakkal district of Tamil Nadu state, both primary and secondary data were used. The primary data pertained to the year 2018-19 and was elicited from 100 poultry farms and 20 market intermediaries selected and data collected using pre-tested questionnaires. Tabular, financial analysis, on marketing pattern and efficiency technique were employed.   • The study was conducted in Thoubal district of Manipur state with the overall objectives of the cost and return analysis, resource use efficiency, marketing efficiency and its problems during production and marketing. The research is based on the data collected by using proportionate sampling from a total of 100 dairy farm sample households comprising of 60 Crossbred and 40 Local cows. Net maintenance cost for a milking crossbred cow was Rs. 161.71 and for a milking local cow was Rs. 55.42 per day, respectively. Net return per day from a crossbred milking cow was Rs. 166.

  • The present investigation was carried out to study the various marketing aspects of onion such as pattern of disposal, market practices and intermediaries involved in channels of marketing, and per unit cost of marketing for different size groups in Nashik district of Maharashtra. For the study of market, Lasalgaon APMC was selected. A sample of 131 farmers was interviewed of which 93 were small, 26 were medium and 12 were large. The marketed surplus was highest for large farmers (76.65 per cent) followed by medium size farms (74.68 per cent) and small size farm groups (67.39 per cent).
