Supply chain management practices (SCMP) have progressively emerged as a contingent factor in improving sustainable performance in universities. More and more organisations including the manufacturing and service sectors are making use of SCM to improve their performance. This study aims to develop an effective instrument to measure SCM practices with reliable predictors to enhance product quality and business performance in education industries in Malaysia.

Vadavathur in Namakkal District is a drought prone village. The annual rainfall is 400 mm. In Vadavathur village, small onion is cultivated in two main seasons viz., Early kharif (May – August) and Rabi (November – December). Generally small onion is propagated by means of bulbs. In view of the importance of pulses in Indian dietary system and agriculture sector in state economy several attempts have been made to study the trends in area and production of pulses crops which reveal the growth performance. The secondary data were collected for area and production of pulses for the period of 1979–80 to 2011-12. The study period was classified as Pre WTO (World Trade Organization) era and Post WTO era. For the estimation of the trends in area and production and to measure the association in productivity we use Mann-Kendall test.

We present measures of board structure for the restating and control samples in panel B of Table 5. The two groups of firms have similar board structures. The median board size for restating (control) firms is 7 (8) members. The median proportion of independent directors (PID) is about 71 percent in each sample. About 5 percent of the independent directors hold 5 percent or larger blocks of equity (PID5) in both groups. One striking difference between the two groups is in the incidence of an independent director with financial expertise (IDFE).

The Committee evaluated whether the 100% CCF for contingent trade finance products in calculating the leverage ratio is too high and whether the 100% CCF disadvantage banks specialised in trade finance. In principle, off-balance sheet positions are subject to a CCF when calculating the risk-based capital adequacy measure under the Basel capital framework. The CCF reflects the likelihood of an off-balance sheet position becoming an on-balance sheet item. The Committee decided to not change the CCF for calculating the leverage ratio.
