  • This paper aims to provide insights into the factors which manufacturers must take into consideration in contemplating to setting up Internet sales channel. By using transaction cost analysis (TCA), we set up a research model, which composed of various factors which are critical to the success of Internet sales channel and elaborate the role of these factors on this issue. Subsequently, appropriate propositions are instigated and investigated in order to determine the impact of these variables on the manufacturers’ decision making in this area.

  • The results of the study indicate that the less stable criteria on each sample background are the basis for selecting evaluation criteria for subsequent studies that contribute to reducing the cost of monitoring. The difference in the time it takes to estimate the stability of the product when using different methods also helps manufacturers consider the appropriate evaluation method for their products.

  • Despite rapid developments in single cell sequencing, sample-specific batch effects, detection of cell multiplets, and experimental costs remain outstanding challenges. Here, we introduce Cell Hashing, where oligo-tagged antibodies against ubiquitously expressed surface proteins uniquely label cells from distinct samples, which can be subsequently pooled.

  • In the present work, the reaction of Cr(VI) with 1,5-diphenylcarbazide in microplates (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay microtiter plate) and a subsequent determination in a plate reader at 540 nm were performed. The final volume utilized for each determination was 200 µL, and the cost and waste were reduced for hexavalent chromium [Cr(VI)] quantification. The use of microplates allowed for the analysis of a large number of samples, reducing analysis time.

  • In the current protocol, the arene diazonium saccharin derivatives were initially produced from various substituted aromatic amines; subsequently, these intermediates were treated with a greener organic iodide for the preparation of the aryl iodide. We tried to choose low-cost, commercially available, biodegradable, recoverable, ecofriendly, and safe reagents and solvents. The arene diazonium saccharin intermediates could be stored in the liquid phase into a refrigerator for a long time with no significant loss activity.

  • Tuning the selective sorption features of microporous organic networks is of great importance for subsequent applications in gas uptake and hiding, while it is more attractive in terms of being both time and cost effective to realize these optimizations without using functional groups in the core and linker. “Knitting” is one of the easiest and most used method to obtain a broad scope of hyper-crosslinked polymers on a large scale from aromatic structures that do not contain functional groups for polymerization.

  • This increases costs and contributes to phosphate pollution problems. The supplementation of animal feed with phytase enables the assimilation of phosphate in the feed ingredients and diminishes the amount of phosphate in the manure and subsequently reaching the environment (Nasi, 1990). It is against this background that this study is designed to isolate phytase producing bacterium and fungus from poultry faeces and optimize the condition controlling the phytase production.

  • In the manufacturing field of sheet products, such as paper, cigarette package, packing box, printed circuit board (PCB), solar silicon chip and so on, the detection of laminated sheet is an essential part. The precision of the counting directly affects the economic benefit of the factory and the subsequent production operation. In order to reduce the high cost and noise in mechanical paper counters, paper counting algorithms based on the gray value difference of paper have been applied and tested to solve these problems based only on vision signals.

  • The enormosity of infectious diseases continues to be a major constraint to the economical viability of livestock industry. Combined vaccines against more than one infectious disease reduce the cost, time, and labour of vaccination. In present study, formalized vaccines against Haemorrhagic Septicaemia and Black Quarter diseases were prepared using P52 strain of Pasteurella multocida and Clostridium chauvoei strain 49. Different proportions of these two vaccines were mixed to formulate various groups of combined vaccines, which were subsequently standardized for sterility, safety and potency.
