This research aims to evaluate the impact of CW issuance on the price and liquidity (measured by trading volume and bid-ask spread) of underlying stocks on the Vietnamese stock market. The study employs the event study methodology and Wilcoxon test to examine whether abnormal returns, trading volume, and bid-ask spreads change after CW issuance.

his paper aims to present three models including Binomial, Trinomial and Black-Scholes model,used to price the value of covered warrants, based on the value of their underlying assets. Moreover, based on these valuation models, the paper conducts the empirical study in thin markets (Hong Kong and Singapore) and developed markets (Australia and the UK) to select which is the best model for each type of market.

The particular study is the first academic attempt to review a new financial instrument, the covered warrants, which were listed for trading in the Athens Exchange within the framework of the recapitalization of the three systematic Greek banks (Alpha Bank, National Bank of Greece and Piraeus Bank) in the summer of 2013. In particular, we discuss the basic characteristics of these instruments and we examine their pricing efficiency during the fifteen months of their listing.

Climatic abnormalities observed in Kashmir over a couple of years (2014- 17) has put saffron farming system under great distress leading to reduction in overall production from 16.5 M.T recorded in 2013 to almost 1.5 M.T recorded in 2017 and thus warrants to bring saffron cropping system under crop insurance cover so as to save saffron growers from annual exchequer loss of Rs 210 cores. Guidelines for weather based and yield based crop insurance policies for saffron have been framed but the schemes are not under operation till date and warrants prioritization of state policy makers.

The genetic markers in inflammatory responses during mastitis afford a reasonable way for improving milk production in the Egyptian buffalo breed. Among them is the interleukin 8 Receptor Gene (IL8RB) (CXCR2); a chemokine receptor gene augments the neutrophil migration during infection. To understand its role better during mastitis in Egyptian buffalos, twenty-five dairy animals representing the normal, sub-clinically, clinically and chronically affected buffalos were randomly selected from different districts.
