The sausage feeder takes an important role in automatic packaging systems. This paper presents the theoretical calculation, kinematic characteristics of an automatic sausage feeder using vibration technique and crank mechanism. The kinematics formulation of the crank mechanism is done using vector loop method and cosine rule are applied to describe the position of the mechanisms. Velocity of crank and connecting rod is performed by differentiating the position in terms of following crank angle and connecting rod angle respectively.

The investigation analyzes effects of clearance size in revolute and spherical joints with clearance on rigid-flexible dynamic of a space slider crank mechanism by finite element method. The model of the mechanism was designed by Solidworks and then velocity, acceleration, displacement, stress and contact force were determined by finite element analysis of rigid-transient dynamic in ANSYS.

In this paper, the measurement of the mechanical parameters like force requirement, hand cranking capabilities, length of cutting & moisture content of different fodders are reported. Force requirement was increased gradually due to the presence of high moisture content of fodders and large size diameter of fodders. Hand cranking capabilities at load conditions gradually decreased compare to at no-load conditions.

This study presents the topological optimization of a Yamaha DT 125 crankshaft. A shape generation was carried out using Autodesk Inventor software, in addition to a finite element analysis of previous and subsequent elements, in which the loading conditions are defined, restrictions and meshing. analyzing the mechanical behavior of this element under maximum operating conditions. Obtaining a Von Misses equivalent stress reduction of 10.74 %, weight of 5.25 % and a minimum safety factor increase of 10.73 %.

The compensating crank is an adjustable lever in the feedback linkage between the servomotor and the large plunger of the dashpot. Adjusting the compensating crank adjusts the amount the large dashpot plunger moves for a given movement of the servomotor.
