The paper used secondary data collected from the branch and primary data gathered from 50 representative customers and 10 credit officers related the group lending of the branch. Data analysis methods consisted of descriptive statistics and comparative analysis, incorporated with the measurements for bank performance and quality.

Credit risk is the risk of losing part or all of a debt due to failure to pay on time or default. Credit risk is considered the most important risk affecting banking performance. Vietnam has about 14.816 active agricultural cooperatives, making for 65.23% of all cooperatives in the country. Agricultural cooperatives play an unchangeable economic and social role. This study adopts a binary logistic regression model to evaluate the impact of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policy’s loans on poor and near poor households in Trang Bom district, Dong Nai province in the above-mentioned period. ABSTRACT Vietnam’s foreign exchange (forex) market has remained relatively poorly developed despite more than two decades of general reform throughout the economy. This paper adopts a microstructure approach to the analysis of the root-causes underlying the operational deficiencies of this market. The analysis suggests that the authorities have tended to follow a de facto adjustable peg exchange rate regime which, in turn, has acted as a retardant to the development of the country’s forex market.
