Chemical constituents from the leaves of Terminalia catappa L. (Combretaceae)

In this paper, we reported the isolation and structural elucidation of four flavonoids, tectochrysin (1), luteolin (2), kaempferol 3,7,4′-trimethyl ether (4), and kaempferol (5), one phenolic, gallic acid (3), and three sterols, β-sitosterol (6), stigmasterol (7), and daucosterol (8) from the leaves of T. catappa.

Integration of vigna mungo under grewia optiva based traditional agroforestry system

The present study was conducted to inspect the effect of Grewia optiva Drummond based traditional agrisilviculture system on productivity of Vigna mungo. The crown spread of trees and distance from tree trunk was considered for quantifying effect of integration on the crop growth and production. Radial transects at right angle to each other were drawn for studying various growth and yield parameters at 1m, half the crown radius, perimeter of crown radius and outside the canopy (control) by plotting quadrat of 1×1 m2.

Effectiveness of plant growth regulators on vegetative growth of strawberry cv. camarosa

The field experiment was carried out at the permanent experimental field of horticulture garden, Bihar Agricultural College, Sabour, Bhagalpur during 2018-2019 for the Effectiveness of plant growth regulators on vegetative growth of strawberry cv. Camarosa. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Block Design with three replications having nine treatments such as: T1 (GA3 @ 100 ppm), T2 (GA3 @ 150 ppm), T3 (GA3 @ 200 ppm), T4 (GA3 @ 250 ppm), T5 (NAA @ 100 ppm), T6 (NAA @ 100 ppm), T7 (NAA @ 100 ppm), T8 (NAA @ 100 ppm) and T9 (control) at 30, 60, 90 and 120 days after transplanting.

Genetic variability studies in tamarind (Tamarindus indica L.)

Genetic variability, heritability, genetic advance and genetic advance as a per cent over mean for twenty characters were assessed by field evaluation (part of survey) of two thirty one tamarind genotypes in six districts (viz, Belagavi, Dharwad, Gadag, Bellary, Chitradurga and Gulbarga) with different location during 2018. High degree of variation was observed for all characters. In all cases, phenotypic variances were higher than the genotypic variance.
