Data Envelop Analysis

This aim of this study is to measure the technical efficiency score and identify the factors that affect the technical efficiency in plastic manufacturing firm in Malaysia for the year 2015 using the two stage Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method. The first stage involves calculating the efficiency score through the DEA using firm-level data, provided by the Department of Statistics, Malaysia. In the second stage, Tobit Regression Analysis was used to identify the significant factors affecting the efficiency of the plastic industry.

The study was conducted by using the method of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) two stages. The first stage involves the calculation a score of efficiency through the DEA by using firm’s data while the second stage Regression Tobit Analysis used to identify significant factors influencing to technical efficiency in machinery industrial.

The objective of this research was to determine the role of neural feedback and muscle mechanics in the generation of physiological tremor oscillation. This research developed a neuromuscular model to simulate the individual and resulting oscillatory mechanisms of tremor. The oscillations found in EMG signal were also analysed empirically from EMG data from 54 subjects using Hilbert Transform and rectification to obtain the envelope of the signal. The time between rhythmical waveform patterns in the EMG signal, TC was found to be 78ms.

Luận văn gồm ba chương chính, chương 1 mô tả hệ thống NH Việt Nam và diễn biến tăng VĐL của các NHTM trong giai đoạn 2005-2010. Chương 2 giới thiệu phương pháp phân tích hiệu quả biên theo cách tiếp cận phi tham số (data envelopment analysis DEA); và mô tả tỷ số tài chính mà tác giả sử dụng phân tích hiệu quả hoạt động NHTM Việt Nam. Sau đó, chương 3 trình bày kết quả phân tích chỉ số hiệu quả hoạt động NHTM theo hai phương pháp trên dựa trên số liệu báo cáo tài chính (BCTC) các NH từ năm 2005 đến 2010; từ đó, đề xuất chính sách nâng cao hiệu quả NHTM trong nước.
