Decoupling control

The purpose of the field-oriented control (FOC) is therefore to create a tool that allows the decoupling control of the flux and torque-producing current components from the three-phase AC currents flowing in the coil. The FOC drive system is a system based on the principle of decoupling the above power components thanks to the stator current feedback control (the innermost circuit of the drive system). The FOC-type control method belongs to the class of vector control methods for electrical machines.

This article presents the development an auto adaptative voltage control integrated into the PV inverters. Facing the voltage sags, this control system allows the voltage at the connection point greater than an admissible voltage threshold of decoupling protection, the connection of PV system is so maintained. The models and simulations are developed in Matlab-Simulink. The obtained results are satisfied.

The two-coupled distillation column is a 4 Input/4 Output process. Normally, control engineers decouple the process into four independent loops. They assign a PID controller to control each loop. Tuning of conventional PID controllers is very difficult when the process is subject to external unknown factors.

In this paper, an imitation learning approach for learning and generalizing grasping skills based on human demonstrations is presented. To this end, motions of robot hand (including finger, wrist, and elbow) with assumption that they are decoupled and each motion moves in two dimension space are investigated. Each element of the robot hand is modeled by an affine nonlinear equation and output of each motion ensure to track a prior trajectory.

The decoupling control is a research field related to solving this problem, which has been studied by many authors in the past. This paper addresses to propose a new decoupling control method applied for two input two output processes (TITO) with multi-time delays. Simulation results show that the performance of the system is improved in the sense, that no longer interfering between the loops is occurred as well as the process output disturbances had been completely eliminated.

As far as the AC machines are concerned, simple speed control systems are not capable of providing decoupled (independent) flux and torque control. All the so called scalar speed control methods (constant volts/hertz control, slip frequency control, voltage control etc.) are able of controlling the steady-state behaviour of the machine only.
