This work presents the controlled synthesis of TiO2/graphene photocatalysts by hydrothermal method using TiCl4 as a precursor. The influence of the precursor concentration and the reaction time on the growth of TiO2 nanoparticles on graphene was studied, showing the ability to achieve the catalysts with desired TiO2 loadings and dispersion.

Diatomite is mined in Phu Yen province, Vietnam and the Fe2O3-diatomite materials are synthesized by a simple process for the photo-Fenton reaction of rhodamine B (RhB) degradation. The pure diatomite and Fe2O3-diatomite materials have large pore structures representing the high adsorption ability and effi- cient photocatalysis.

In this study, NiFe2O4/BiVO4 composite was synthesized by two-steps hydrothermal method. The NiFe2O4 nanoparticles were first synthesized by the hydrothermal method and then were decorated on the surface of BiVO4. The NiFe2O4/BiVO4 composite was expected to exhibit a higher photocatalytic efficiency for photodecomposition of rhodamine B (RhB) under visible LED light irradiation as compared to that of the bare BiVO4, owing to the complex structures and the incorporated magnetic species.

TiO2-Graphene Oxide-Hemin (TiO2/GO/Hemin) ternary composite hybrid material was prepared by the sol-gel method and used as a heterogeneous catalyst for the photocatalytic degradation of organic contaminants. The catalytic activity of GO-TiO2-Hemin was evaluated by the degradation of Rhodamine B (RhB) under the UV-visible light irradiation and in the presence of hydrogen peroxide.
