Unlike existing literature that has focused on the relationship between exchange rate and housing price, this paper studies the housing price fluctuations from the perspective of RMB exchange rate expectation to resolve the dilemma “guarantee housing price or exchange rate” after the sub-prime mortgage crisis. This paper shows that housing prices responded negatively to RMB appreciation expectation from 1999 to 2008, and positively from 2009 to 2019. After 2009, exchange rate expectation is the Granger causality of housing prices. After introducing the U.S.

In this era spread of multidrug resistance is a global problem. P. aeruginosa is one of the most common nosocomial pathogen causing wide range of opportunistic infections. Rapid emergence of varying degrees of innate & acquired resistance mechanisms has put forward a major challenge in their detection as well as treatment options.

The novel experiments was undertaken among 60 on-campus trainees and 60 off-campus trainees spread among three purposively selected villages under two blocks under the domain of KVK Jainagar, Koderma. The 20 on-campus trainees and 20 off campus trainees were selected randomly from each selected villages. For the purpose of this study, Two variables namely, extent of participation and impact of KVKs in empowering rural women has been operationalized as the degree to which farm women participant in various activities in lac cultivation.

This research investigates the connection between Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and the issue of information asymmetry. Our CSR sample comes from the DJSI (Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index), and the sample consists from 764 firm-year observations during 2002 to 2010. Our empirical work find there is a significantly negative relationship between CSR and information asymmetry proxy, which means that market responds CSR with smaller gap between bid-ask spreads.

The present study was undertaken with an objective to determine the degree of association and magnitude of direct and indirect effects between grain yield and other yield components, physico-chemical & nutritional quality traits. Character association studies revealed that panicle length and test weight showed significant positive correlation while days to 50% flowering, alkali spreading value and L/B ratio exhibited significant negative relationship with grain yield/plant.

Genetic variability, heritability, genetic advance and genetic advance as a per cent over mean for twenty characters were assessed by field evaluation (part of survey) of two thirty one tamarind genotypes in six districts (viz, Belagavi, Dharwad, Gadag, Bellary, Chitradurga and Gulbarga) with different location during 2018. High degree of variation was observed for all characters. In all cases, phenotypic variances were higher than the genotypic variance.

İn 2015-2017 years has been studied influence of various pests and pathogens in the conditions of in situ and ex situ to the trees and shrubs spreaded in the studied area, identified their species composition and morphological characteristics. It was determined that some widely spread pests are damaging many types of plant. Such pests was relates silkworm (Ocneria dispar L.), maple mealybug (Phenacoccus aceris Sign.), false acacia (Parthenolecanium corni Bouche.), Oyster-shell scale (Quadraspidiotus ostreaeformis Curt.), San Jose scale (Quadraspidiotus perniciosus Comst.).

The breadfruit tree (Artocarpus altilis), despite its food, therapeutic and agroforestry potential, remained underutilized in Benin due to the lack of information on the species. The objective of this study is to carry out the morphological characterization of the species in order to have a better knowledge of its diversity in Benin, an essential step in its safeguarding and its use. Thus, the discriminatory morphological descriptors in Artocarpus altilis in relation to the agro-ecological diversity of Benin have been identified. Foliar, fruit and seed characteristics were studied.

One of the most important components of pot cultivation of flower crops is the choice of growing medium. It should be well aerated medium with good water retention capacity and good drainage. And ideal growing medium needs to be able to anchor the roots and stems so that the plant will not topple over as it grows larger, yet it should provide adequate moisture, nutrient and aeration to the plant. The cost, local availability and experience in substrate are usually the determining factors for choosing a particular substrate type.

Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) is an inflammatory and/or infectious disorder of the upper female genital tract, including the uterus, fallopian tubes, and adjacent pelvic structures, that may spread upward to the peritoneum. Currently available treatment options have presented to produce adverse effects of various degrees, such as increased antimicrobial resistance and a limited effective duration of hormones.

Secondary data were compiled and described using descriptive statistics as appropriate. Breeding data maintained by the research stations on the Ethiopian Boran and their crossbreeds were collected and used. The number of available data used for the analysis is summarized in Table 1. The number of records available for some of the traits was very limited. Fortunately, there was reasonable spread of data across subclasses and dependency was not a problem.

It is accepted globally that a “leaner” yet ‘bigger’ dairy industry is much more productive than small farm holdings. Contrary to this belief we suggest mechanization is not an alternative but can be a complement to smallholding farms. Mechanization is understood as loss of jobs for farmers. This may be true for the crop sector; however, in dairy farming this is not always the case. Given Pakistan’s spread of smallholdings and very low level of existing mechanization; job losses are unlikely to happen.

Selecting generation after generation of birds for their faster growth rates and higher meat yields has left the birds’ immune systems less able to cope with infections and there is a high degree of genetic uniformity in the population, making spread of the virus all the more easy. Further intensification of the industry has been suggested by some as the solution to avian flu, on the rationale that keeping birds indoors will prevent contamination. However, this relies on perfect, fail-safe biosecurity – and such measures are near impossible to implement.

As concerns the general evaluation of the quality system, audit focuses on quality management procedures and their effectiveness. Part 1 of the ESG is used to review also the impact that quality management procedures have on the results of the operations in connection with the degree programmes, which have been chosen as samples of degree education. However, the results are compared to the targets set by the HEI itself in order to pay more attention to the effectiveness of quality management.

A crucial property of graphs such as those in Chart 1 is their degree distribution. In a directed graph, each node has two degrees, an in-degree, the number of links that point into the node, and an out-degree, which is the number pointing out. Incoming links to a node or bank reect the interbank assets/exposures of that bank, ie monies owed to the bank by a counterparty. Outgoing links from a bank, by contrast, correspond to its interbank liabilities. In what follows, the joint distribution of in and out-degree governs the potential for the spread of shocks through the network.

In what follows, we construct a simple nancial system involving entities with interlocking balance sheets and use these techniques to model the spread and probability of contagious default following an unexpected shock, analytically and numerically. Unlike the generic, undirected graph model of Watts (2002), our model provides an explicit characterisation of balance sheets, making clear the direction of claims and obligations linking nancial institutions. It also includes asset price interactions with balance sheets, allowing the effects of asset-side contagion to be clearly delineated.

To preview the results, we nd that both capital inows and monetary policy shocks have a statistically signicant effect on real private credit, real residential investment and real house prices. Moreover, capital inows do not appear to be associated with inationary pressures or with substantial increases in output, suggesting that a central bank that follows a standard Taylor rule would see little reason to respond to these shocks.
