In this paper, several IAA farming systems practiced in Vietnam are described, and their impacts are also reviewed. It is speculated that in developing countries like Vietnam, the IAA farming system should be targeted for support as a sustainable food safety model and a form of ecosystem-based technology to reduce environmental impacts, adapt to climate change, help avoid risks from market fluctuation, and increase incomes in comparison with monoculture farming.

Access to formal credit of agricultural cooperatives in Vietnam: Obstacles and international lessons
Vietnam has about 14.816 active agricultural cooperatives, making for 65.23% of all cooperatives in the country. Agricultural cooperatives play an unchangeable economic and social role. However, despite their importance, most Vietnamese agricultural cooperatives are small sized, and only 2% of them have access to formal credit, which hindering enormously their development.

This study has been prepared in accordance with the objectives of evaluating and developing geothermal resources in order to bring the geothermal resources in the Konya Plain Project (KOP) Region, which includes Aksaray, Kırşehir, Konya, Nevşehir, Niğde and Yozgat provinces, to the country’s economy with maximum capacity, and to develop proposals for investments to be made. The number of overnight stays and the number of tourists outside the region should be increased by utilizing alternative tourism opportunities in the region.

The fruit industry in Vietnam has a great potential and plays an important role in agricultural production. In 2003, Vietnam exported US$43 million of high value fruit to high-income countries and imported US$14 million of fruit and vegetables.
