This research proposes the dynamic stability improvement of a large-scale power system which consists of a conventional synchronous generator (SG)-based power plant integrated with a doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG)-based wind farm by using a generalized unified power-flow controller (GUPFC). The complete dynamic mathematical equations of the studied system are established in dq-axis reference frame under three-phase balanced conditions.

This paper presents the application of a Static Var Compensator (SVC) to improve the dynamic stability of the Doubly-Fed Induction Generator (DFIG)-based Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) fed to power grid. The studied 9-MW wind power system includes 6x1.5-MW DFIG-based WTG connected to bus 110-kV of the power system.

This paper presents a new control strategy to reduce the fluctuation of DC bus voltage for a backto-back PWM converter in a DFIG wind turbine systems. DC-link voltage Feed-forward compensation control strategy for DFIG’s RSC and GSC converter is proposed to limit the fluctuation range of the dclink voltage. The dynamic performances of the DFIG are compared with the traditional control method.

In this paper, the application of a series grid-side converter (SEGSC) connected to a wind-turbine-driven doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) is introduced. The setup allows the wind turbine system an uninterruptible fault ride-through of voltage dips. The SEGSC can compensate the faulty line voltage, while the DFIG wind turbine can continue its nominal operation as demanded in actual grid codes.

A novel control scheme for power converters of doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) wind turbine system has been proposed to mitigate the current oscillations due to grid voltage unbalance. With this proposed scheme, the current controller is designed in the synchronous reference frame and composed of a proportional integral (PI) controller and a repetitive controller. Thus, the proposed controller gives better performance of the DFIG wind turbine system, compared with the existing dual PI one.

Phương pháp điều khiển vectơ từ thông được áp dụng cho cả hai bộ biến đổi phía Stato (phía lưới) và phía Roto, để điều khiển độc lập tốc độ, dòng điện, điện áp, công suất tác dụng và công suất phản kháng đồng thời giữ cho điện áp một chiều (DC – link) bằng hằng số.

The surveying and evaluation of the quality of control method for wind power systems using Doubly-Fed Induction Generators (DFIG) is a highly important signification. A new designing methodology for the passivity-based nonlinear controller is applied to gain some results which are described in this paper as can be seen, to control the Doubly-Fed Induction Generators, to maintain grid retaining of system in syschronical fault case which lead to drop a part of grid voltage.
