Different levels of NPK on growth

The results of the present investigation indicated that, different pruning treatments and fertilizer levels produced significant effect on growth and yield attributes of guava. The treatment of 45 cm of past season’s growth with application of fertilizer levels of 125% RDF (1000:500:500 g NPK/tree) recorded the significant effect on the growth parameter like plant height, shoot length, shoot diameter and number of leaves per shoot and produced maximum values of all these growth parameters with minimum days of flowering and fruit set. The maximum yield (60.41 kg/tree and 16.79 t/ha.

The study entitled The Effect of different level of NPK and Zinc on soil health, growth and yield of Chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.). Cv-Pusa-362 was carried out at the research farm of Soil science and agriculture chemistry, Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Science, Prayagraj during the season of Rabi 2019-20. The soil of the experimental area was sandy loam in texture. A field experiment consisting four levels of fertiliser and four levels plant densities in factorial RBD with three replications was conducted at at instructional farm of K.V.K, Ganjam-II, Berhampur, Odisha during 2017-18. Results revealed that different levels of fertiliser and plant densities significantly influenced growth and yield of pointed gourd. A field experiment was conducted to evaluate the impact of NPK application of different RDF levels on growth and yield of guava cv. Hisar Safeda. The treatment combinations consist of five levels of RDF i.e. RDF (60%), RDF (80%), RDF (100%), RDF (120%) and RDF (140%) during 2015-16 and 2016-17. Among the different treatments RDF (120%) was optimum for plant height, plant girth and canopy spread (E-W) and (N-S). Similarly, in terms of fruit set (58.46%), fruit retention (68.51%), number of fruits, fruit weight (104.47 g) and fruit yield (55.79 kg/tree) was best with RDF 120%.
