Diffuse reflectance spectra

The Cu/TiO2 nanoparticles were characterized using X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and diffuse reflectance spectra (DRS). The photo-catalytic degradation of rhodamine B (RB) in the aqueous suspensions of TiO2 and Cu/TiO2 under visible light was carried out.

In this report, we presented the usage of Stober method to fabricate SiO2 nanospheres and self-assembly method to make SiO2 opal photonic crystals based on the fabricated SiO2 nanospheres. An averaged size of SiO2 nanospheres was controlled by varying concentrations of NH4OH and TEOS. Crystal structure and morphology of particles was investigated by using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) techniques.

Titanium dioxide (TiO2) coated on multi-walled carbon nanotubes (CNTs) was synthesized with CNTs and TiO2 using the grinded method. The XRS spectra include that of the obtained single-phase anatase sample. The UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectra show that the composite material can absorb at a higher wavelength and the absorption covers the whole visible region.

The CIE (Commission International de I'E' clairage) chromaticity coordinates were calculated from emission spectra. They were close to the NTSC (National television standard committee) standard value of red emission. The average correlated color temperature (CCT) was found to be 2109 K. Therefore, the MgAl2O4:Cr3 þ phosphor is useful for laser and solid state display applications.

A novel series of ZnBi2O4/rGO hybrid catalysts were synthesized via co-precipitation method.
