In this paper, geometrical nonlinear flutter analysis of functionally graded carbon nanotubes reinforced composite plates is presented. The governing equations of the system are obtained using the Mindlin plate theory and von Karman geometric nonlinearity. The linear piston theory is utilized to determine the aerodynamic pressure. Applying the Hamilton principle, equations of motion of a system are derived in the matrix form, and then the finite element method is used to obtain the discretized equations.

The paper "Dynamic analysis of stiffened functionally graded composite plates reinforced by carbon nanotubes under blast loading" presents a study of the geometrical nonlinear dynamic of stiffened functionally graded composite plates reinforced by carbon nanotubes (SFG-CNTRC) subjected to blast loading. The vibration of the gear transmission is reduced based on friction and inelastic collision which eliminates the vibrational energy by the loss during the motion of the damping particles within the technological holes.

The paper shows that the aggregates are ductile and no abrupt rupture due to the rearrangement of primary particles and the tensile effects of the cohesive forces having the direction perpendicular to the impact direction, the mechanical strength of aggregates depends on the liquid properties and the impact speed, and the collapse of the wet granular column strongly depends on the natural properties of the liquid.

In this paper, by replacing a part of heavy (high stiffness) particles with light (low stiffness) particles, we numerical investigate the effects of lightweight particle content on the mechanical strength of wet cylindrical agglomerates under uniaxial compression test. To simplify the model, the deformable characteristics of lightweight particles are neglected, implying that all particles are modeled as rigid grains.
