Invasive species threaten the biodiversity and the function of ecosystems. Drone image, satellite images, and image analysis software were used to create the map of invasive distribution and the potential spreading of invasive plants. 13 most invasive plants were identified with 11 species listed as invasive species in Southeast Asia and 5 of them in the 100 world’s invasive species by IUCN.

A series of composite materials of general molecular formula (1 x) Na2SO4 (x) LDT was prepared by solid state reaction method. The phase structure and functionalization of these materials were defined by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) respectively. Differential thermal analysis (DTA) revealed that the hump of phase transition at 250 C has decreased while its thermal stability was enhanced.

The oxidation behavior of two types of inhomogeneous nickel was investigated in air at 1273 K for a total oxidation time of 100 h. The two types were porous sintered-nickel and microstructurally inhomogeneous cast-nickel. The porous-nickel samples were fabricated by compacting Ni powder followed by sintering in vacuum at 1473 K for 2 h. The oxidation kinetics of the samples was determined gravimetrically. The topography and the cross-section microstructure of each oxidized sample were observed using optical and scanning electron microscopy.

A descriptive analysis by frequency counting, central trends measures and dispersion was made for those continuous type variables, as some of the variables inherent to laborers, and environmental and biological measurements. Continuous variables were transformed to normalize them. We also explored possible relationships between some variables and they were crossed by constructing contingency tables. We used the Student's t tests and chi square tests for the comparison of quantitative and categorical variables.
