Samples were molded under a hot press and for each sample 50 test samples obtained by cutting them with a water jet. The obtained samples were characterized by TG, FTIR, and SEM. The effect of water absorption was evaluated by measuring percentage water absorption and flexural strength of samples over 9 months. The results revealed that filler addition lowers the damage created by distilled water a considerable amount and addition of hydrophobic fillers to epoxy matrix composites can be especially beneficial for applications where long-term water exposure is desired.

The pepper (Capsicum fructescens) is a condiment used in human food. In order to demonstrate the presence of lactic bacteria and their biodiversity in the fermentation of peppers, 33 lactic bacteria were isolated from the fermented pepper samples sold in the markets of Brazzaville and samples fermented in the laboratory. The pH was measured every 24 hours from the fermenting peppers homogenized in distilled water. The inoculated cultured were prepared from 10 grams of fermenting chili for 24 hours, homogenized in maximum recovery diluent CMO733 pH 7.0.

The fresh leaves of Hibiscusrosa-sinensis were collected from Ho Chi Minh National University campus in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam in October 2016. Fresh leaves with uniform structure were chosen and washed with distilled water. After that, samples were air dried till constant weight and then ground to powder. The samples were stored in air tight bags for further periodical uses.

The present study was conducted to evaluate the shelf- life of paneer wrapped with oregano essential oil treated starch and carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) based edible packaging film.
