The present study was conducted in Latur and Osmanabad district of Marathwada region of Maharashtra state in latur district out of ten tehsils two tehsils where selected randomly namely Latur and Chakur and in Osmanabad district out of eight tehsils two tehsils where selected randomly namely Osmanabad and Kalamb. Turmeric variety Megha Turmeric-1 was introduced among the farming community of Kokrajhar district through farmers participatory mode for enhancing and doubling farmer’s income under Tribal Sub Plan. A total of seven demonstrations were conducted during 2017-18 in Bhaoragaja village of Alangi under Gossaigaon sub-division for disseminating the scientific production technology of high yielding (270 q/ha) Megha Turmeric-1 variety having high curcumin content (6.8%).

The present study was undertaken at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Banda, Uttar Pradesh where Jakhani village has been selected for doubling farmers income by 2022. A total of 50 respondents were selected randomly who were engaged in agriculture and allied activities. Data were collected through focus group discussion, Participatory Rural Appraisal and a semi-structured interview schedule. The problem identification technique was used to identify and prioritize the problems related to agriculture and allied sectors in the village.

The objective of the study was to assess the variability in the age at attainment puberty of growing pigs under intensive rearing practices and local managemental conditions in the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Lakhimpur adopted village for doubling farmer’s income. 15 nos. of weaned Hampshire cross female pigs made the treatment group while 15 nos. of local pigs constituted the control group. The animals were reared under intensive rearing system with locally made pig sty. Feeding of the animals was done with equal amounts of kitchen waste and concentrated feed.

An one ha model of integrated farming system initiated during 2015 at Agricultural Research Institute, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad, Telangana. One hectare area divided into 5 blocks viz. involving rice-sweet corn- dhaincha on 0.24 ha, banana plantation with on 0.15 ha, brinjal-tomato in 0.2 ha for vegetable production, Green fodder crops were raised on 0.35 ha. 50 saplings of coconut were planted all around the bunds. An assessment trial was conducted at farmer’s field of adopted village Awalia of RVSKVV, Krishi Vigyan Kendra Dhar, M. P. during the rabi season, 2016-17. Among the various cucurbits polyculture with tomato on raised bed, the higher return obtained from the polyculture with ridge gourd and tomato on raised bed cultivation.
