Dual use of technology

In this paper, we present a design of a concurrent dual-band power amplifier operating at 5.8 GHz and 9.4 GHz employing a MMIC technology for wireless communications. The active device used is a 0.25 µm AlGaN/GaN HEMT from WIN Semiconductor, Taiwan.

The experiment was conducted during 2017-2018 at the department of PostHarvest Technology, Kittur Rani Channamma College of Horticulture, Arabhavi, Karnataka to standardize the dual colour tinting technology in gerbera and carnation by using 6 different food dyes combinations (Red and Yellow, Orange and Green, Yellow and Pink, Red and Green, Blue and Green, Orange and Yellow) along with control at five per cent concentration along with three different immersion time (7.5, 10 and 12.5 hrs).

The increasing use of digital services and technologies in health care calls for effective tools to evaluate the users’ eHealth literacy in order to better understand the users’ interaction with health technologies. We here present a systematic review of existing tools to measure eHealth literacy and for what these tools have been used to investigate. We identified eight tools, of which three of them are bases upon a conceptual model of eHealth literacy and the remaining five are dual tools, i.a. comprised of individual measures for health literacy and digital literacy.

This paper proposes a novel uni-planar dual-band antenna using Composite Right Left Handed (CRLH) transmission line (CRLH-TL). Proposed antenna is designed based on the fringing effects of metamaterials and combined with coplanar waveguide (CPW) feeding in order to create two frequency bands for WLAN applications at the 2.4 and 5.5 GHz bands.

The research, simulation and design dual band antenna which operates at 900MHz and 2.45GHz are conducted. FR4-epoxy substrate is chosen with thickness h = 1.5mm, εr = 4.4. Dual band can be achieved by using different methods of impedance’s matching for single antenna which is originally designed at 900MHz. Some dual band RFID structures are discussed in this paper.
