A nanoarray structure was constructed on the quartz glass cover surface, which had both strong dust removal ability and significant anti-reflection. Firstly, a structure model of dust removal nanoarray was established to investigate the effects of the structural parameters such as the period, the depth, and the duty ratio.

This study presents a cheap and facile method to fabricate the functional surface on Tole substrate for water repellent and dust removal application. Bare Tole substrate was initially ground using sandpaper to generate the microscale structures and followed by the wet etching method using an acid solution to create the hierarchical structure.

Bi-reactor open core gasifier was built with the capacity to process approximately 15 kg of briquettes per hour. The reactor was made up of double walled cylindrical body with 300 mm of outer cylinder diameter and 244 mm of inner cylinder diameters excluding the thickness of sheet 6 mm. Both the cylinders were made up of 3 mm M.S. sheet 18 SWG. Another reactor was fabricated with same specifications and both outlets were interconnected. Gate valves were fixed to regulate the air flow rate and control the producer gas.

This research was conducted to prepare apricot jam from the pulp of fresh mature apricots by using artificial sweeteners .Apricots were washed with clean water to remove dust particles. After sorting and pitting, apricots were cut into two halves and dipped in 0.1% citric acid solution to avoid browning. The pulp of apricots was extracted by using plumper. Apricot pulp was heated to get the desired consistency. Low heating was continued and brix were noted after every 20 minutes. Pectin with small amount of nonnutritive sweeteners were dissolved separately and added to the mixture.

The present work involves computational fluid dynamics (CFD) study of dust particle removal efficiency of a venturi scrubber operating in self-priming mode using ANSYS CFX. Titanium oxide (TiO2) particles having sizes of 1 micron have been taken as dust particles. CFD methodology to simulate the venturi scrubber has been first developed. The cascade atomization and breakup (CAB) model has been used to predict deformation of water droplets, whereas the Eulerian eLagrangian approach has been used to handle multiphase flow involving air, dust, and water.

They came like monsters, rather than men, into the vast ruin of what had once been a great city. They walked carefully, side by side, speaking to each other by radio as though they were in deep space rather than upon solid ground. The winding way they followed through the ruins was marked by blurred footsteps in the dust and the two men, clumsy in their bulky suits, found the going difficult. They stopped, and one of them held out an instrument. He studied the dial. "All clear," and both men removed their helmets. They wiped sweat from their faces...

When operators drill oil and gas wells, they typically remove topsoil from the well site and lay a well pad, where the drilling rig is located. Other equipment on site can include generators and fuel tanks. In addition, reserve pits are often constructed to store or dispose of water, mud, and other materials that are generated during drilling operations, and roads and access ways are often built to move equipment to and from the wells. Generally, these activities can degrade the environment in three ways: • Air quality.

Copper fungicides are environmentally unfriendly. They are very toxic to fish and aquatic invertebrates, such as crab, shrimp and oysters. There are cases where most animal life in soil, including large earthworms, have been eliminated by the extensive use of copper-containing fungicides in orchards. It is strongly bioaccumulated and is very persistent. Once a soil is contaminated with copper, there is no practical way to remove it. The organic insecticide rotenone has been found to be toxic to pigs, rats and dogs and is is very toxic to fish. It causes skin and eye irritations.

In everyday parlance a ‘filter’ is a device that removes some component from whatever is passed through it. A drinking-water filter removes salts and bacteria; a coffee filter removes coffee grinds; an air filter removes pollutants and dust. In electronics the word ‘filter’ evokes thoughts of a system that removes components of the input signal based on frequency.
