Dynamic augmentation

The aim of this paper is to construct an Augmented Dynamic Model of Job Creation for Malaysian Manufacturing Sector. The previous studies on job creation model focus on the static model where the job creation influenced by real wages, real output, assets, expenditure of research and development (R&D), lag of R&D, export and foreign labour. However, the aggregate rate of unemployment in Malaysia could not explain the dynamic of labour market. The dynamic of labour market can be explained more precisely through the formula of job flows (including job creation and job destruction).

This study aims to find dynamic interaction between domestic investment, foreign direct investment, export and exchange rate in Vietnam for the period 1985–2015. Augmented Dickey-Fuller (ADF) test is used to assess unit root in the concerned data series. Johansen co-integration approach is applied to examine the long run relationship and the Granger causality test is thus performed in the context of the vector error correction model.

This paper presents a parser of an inflectional free word order language, namely Finnish. Two-way finite automata are used to specify a functional dependency grammar and to actually parse Finnish sentences. Each automaton gives a functional description of a dependency structure within a constituent. Dynamic local control of the parser is realized by augmenting the automata with simple operations to make the automata, associated with the words of an input sentence, activate one another.

Our methodology is based on a dynamic stochastic general equilibrium (DSGE) calibrated model augmented with endogenous market structures in line with recent developments in the macroeconomic literature (see Etro, 2009, for a survey). This model is perturbed with a realistic structural change to the cost structure, with the purpose to study the short and long term reactions of the economy. Therefore, our methodology is based on a solid theoretical framework and provides results that can be easily replicated by economists. However, it has some limitations that we need to point out.
