Recent research has highlighted the need for increased evidence regarding the sedentary activity levels of preschoolers. Given the large proportion of time this population spends in various early learning facilities, the exploration of sedentary behaviors within this particular environment should be a priority.

Using digital resources is an important development in the Early Childhood Education (ECE) curriculum in China. Guo and Wang (2005) report that 98% of urban ECE programs have computers with Internet connections, in addition to other technical facilities, which are used daily in ECE classrooms. However, the lack of curriculum-related digital resources and of a network to share them makes it difficult for teachers to share these resources for teaching.

The delayed response to economic shocks or to changes in monetary policy which characterize the ináation expectations and the interest rate dynamics is also explained by the existence of this asymmetric information set between private agents and monetary authorities. Hence, Huh and Lansing (2000) and Erceg and Levin (2001) are two models which demonstrate how an ináation scare problem could produce a sharp increase of long-term interest rates, as for the Volcker disináation period of the early 1980s and the 1987 ináation scare episode.
