Effect of harmonic loads

Xem 1-6 trên 6 kết quả Effect of harmonic loads
  • The present paper considers the composite plate resting on an elastic pinned subjected to harmonic loads. The plate element model with high-order shear deformation theory and finite element algorithm is proposed in order to buckling analysis of the plate. As a result, the buckling domain is determined. Moreover, the effect of geometric parameters, elastic pins, and materials on the buckling of the plate is comprehensively investigated.

  • Voltage sags can be symmetrical or unsymmetrical depending on the causes of the sag. At the present time, one of the most common procedures for mitigating voltage sags is by the use of dynamic voltage restorers (DVRs). By definition, a DVR is a controlled voltage source inserted between the network and a sensitive load through a booster transformer injecting voltage into the network in order to correct any disturbance affecting a sensitive load voltage. In this paper, modelling of DVR for voltage correction using MatLab software is presented.

  • This paper presents a research result of the effect of high harmonic ratio primary current on the relative error of instrument transformers. The increasing relative error could be explained by using a first order timed delay element of the current transformer versus the fast-changing load current.
