A field experiment was conducted in kharif 2011on blackgram genotype T-9. The experiment was laid out in randomized block design with three replication and thirteen treatments. There was significant improvement recorded in yield, nutrient content, uptake and physico-chemical properties viz. pH, electrical conductivity, organic carbon and available N and P of soil under black gram crop. Grain yield was increased by 47.06% in treatment T13 over control while, organic carbon showed significantly highly positive correlation with available nitrogen (r=.878) in post harvest soil.

A field experiment was conducted at Institutional Farm, Rajasthan College of Agriculture, Udaipur, (Rajasthan) during kharif, 2014 on clay loam soil. The experiment was laid out according to factorial randomized block design with three replications. A pot experiment was conducted during kharif season of 2014-15 at the cage house, Sri Karan Narendra Agriculture University, Jobner. The application of potassium humate and seed inoculation with bio-inoculants significantly increased the NPK content and uptake, quality and yield of cowpea. The results revealed that the higher values of NPK content, uptake and Protein content in seed of cowpea are obtain under the application of potassium humate @10 mg/kg soil and Rhizobium + VAM + PSB seed inoculation than other treatment.

A field experiment was conducted during Rabi season of 2016-2017 at Crop Research Farm, Department of Agronomy, Naini Agricultural Institute, SHUATS, Allahabad, (U.P.), to study the “ Effect of Biofertilizers and Levels of Sulphur on Growth and Yield of Mustard [Brassica juncea (L.) Czern. & Coss]’’. It was consisting of combination of four levels of biofertilizer viz., Azotobacter, Phosphate Solubilizing Bacteria (PSB) and Azotobacter + Phosphate-Solubilizing bacteria with a control (no seed inoculation), and two levels of sulphur 20 and 40 kg ha-1 with a control.

An investigation was carried out to study the effect of organic manures and bio-inoculants (Azatobacter, Azospirillum, PSB and VAM) on growth, yield and quality of ashwagandha by comparing with RDF at K.R.C.C.H. College of Arabhavi. A field experiment was conducted during Kharif seasons of 2015-16 and 2016-17 with an objective to assess the effect of different INM treatments on yield and quality of rice (cv. Ratnagiri-1). The treatments comprised of three sources of N at RDF (urea, FYM and urea + FYM), three levels of P (0, 75 and 100 per cent P of RDF) along with PSB and VAM inoculations (no inoculation and inoculation) and a control making in all nineteen (18+1) treatment combinations.
